Remember Your Friends – Gotta a problem to figure out, Mind’s confused, filled with doubt Need to learn what it’s all about, It’s time to give a friend shout Sometimes saying the words out loud, and letting go. It starts to make sense when you’re hearing the words. The energy’s not so tense Remember your friends, give them a call, They’re there to help you when you hit the wall Remember your friends, they’re holding the space, to get you back to a happier place Nudging you with a question or two, Giving you time to think it through. Keeping in mind, it’s all about you, ^ Not judging anything you do Never worry ‘bout what you say, Between you and them is where it will stay Friends honour your trust that way, Seeking the truth, Come what may Remember your friends, give them a call, They’re there to help you when you hit the wall Remember your friends, they’re holding the space, to get you back to a happier place Ease and grace, are what they hold dear, Calm and gentle, being the mirror Workin it through, freeing the fear, Always touched, by a sacred tear I remembered my friends, gave them a call, They were there when I hit that wall I remembered my friends, they held the space, to get me back to a happier place

Shirl Girl Bo Birl It’s been a hard day’s week, now the sun’s going down. Shirley’s getting ready for a fun night on the town. Getting dressed in her sparkles, she’s hums a little tune. Singin’ and dancin’ sends her over the moon. “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” her friends laugh and shout. As she skips into the bar. Whirling twirling about “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” with wings upon her feet Flying ‘cross the dance floor, groovin’ to the beat Their vows said forever, but he walked, left her alone The kids have flown the coup, now it’s a quiet home The only cure for the loneliness and heartache that she’s found Is kicking up her heels to that good ole country sound “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” her friends laugh and shout. As she skips into the bar. Whirling twirling about “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” with wings upon her feet Flying ‘cross the dance floor, groovin’ to the beat Times get hard, times get tough, and you’ve just had enough. Dancing fills that empty cup, with folks that light you up “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” her friends laugh and shout. As she skips into the bar. Whirling twirling about “ShirlGirl Bo Birl” with wings upon her feet Flying ‘cross the dance floor, groovin’ to the beat

The Search for Gold Here’s a little story, of a time not long ago Of the brave Barbaro family that went searching for gold Head up north, you’ll get rich, that’s what they were told So they packed up what would fit, and everything else was sold Three long months in a covered wagon, from Pincher to Dawson Creek The journey was a tough one, not for the mild and meek By the time they arrived, everyone was tired and weak But here was the fortune, the gold they did seek. Search for gold, the search for gold, who knew how the story, would unfold They slogged and they sluiced, the going was rough Pickin’ and a’foraging through the rock was so tough After weeks went by, and they couldn’t find the stuff With winter setting in, they decided enough is enough - There was only fare for one, so Papa was forced to go Leaving his wife and 3 daughters, alone to run the show In a tiny little cabin, dreading months of snow When they’d meet again, they feared and did not know Search for gold, the search for gold, who knew how the story, would unfold Then one cold and freezing day, a knock came at the door There stood a Native man, they were scared to the core He pointed at their rifle, took it and said no more Now how would they get their food, the prospects looked poor But on the very next day, as for water they went out On the porch there laid a rabbit, but there no one was about All winter food was brought to them, and there is no doubt This Native man was their savior, not a scoundrel or a lout. Search for gold, the search for gold, who knew how the story, would unfold

I love this saying, has become my mission statement...

I grew up in Northern Canada, and while always having a deep love of music, it’s been later in life, since 2012, that I started writing and performing.

My intent is to spread love and joy through music, which hopefully leaves you with a smile in your heart.
